Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year)

Passed in 12th (Physics / Chemistry/ Maths) and ITI (two years) students can directly join the second year of the three-year Diploma program under the Lateral Entry Program.

 

Scope of Electrical Engineering

Diverse opportunities await students as they deal with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism they have equally good opportunities for jobs in the electrical engineering industry and higher education.

Diploma holders in Electrical Engg. can find Job both in the Government sector and in the private sectors. In the Government sector diploma holders are absorbed by enterprises like, Keltron, BSNL, ISRO, DRDO, Railway, LPSC, Technical Education Department, Military Services etc. In the private sector students have a wide range of choice from companies like HCL, HP etc.
