Scope of Mechanical Production Engineering
Production Engineering deals with integrated design and efficient planning of the entire manufacturing system. Production engineering involves the design, control, and continuous improvement of integrated systems to provide customers with high-quality goods and services in timely, cost-effective manner.
The production engineering course has been specifically designed to meet the requirement of the manufacturing industry as industrial estate of the Rudrpur now has been emerging as an industrial hub where automobile, all big manufacture of FMCG and others industries, (all the big players of auto mobile industry like Tata, Bajaj, Minda, Ashok Leylend, APC, HP, etc) are having their manufacturing facility in the area.

Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design of production and operation of machinery and tools. In the diploma course, the main focus is done on practical work. For this different lab work, project work, workshop, seminar, and smart class is conducted by the department.
