M. PHARM IN PHARMACOLOGY

This course offered by SIX SIGMA is of two years' duration. The first year curriculum is designed with exposure to advances in pharmacology, wherein the candidate has potential to equip himself/herself with all preclinical pharmacological, toxicological and safety pharmacological studies. Furthermore, he/she gets adequate exposure of clinical research methods, newer molecular biology techniques.

The second year is mainly through dissertation on the topic of industrial research and development, new drug discovery etc. Thus the two year program will enable pharmacology student to cope up with present day need of preclinical and clinical research in new drug discovery and development.

DURATION

The course shall extend over two years, consisting of two semesters in the first year, followed by research work on industry related project and submission of dissertation in the second year.
